Millissa Kingbird (Anishinaabe--Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe) holds a Master of Fine Arts in Poetry from the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, NM. She writes poetry and the occasional lyric essay focusing on womanhood, bodies, nature, and trauma. She has been published in Hinchas de Poesia, Yellow Medicine Review, Red Ink, Connotations Press, and The Rumpus. When not writing, she contemplates small things.

Angie Trudell Vasquez (Mexican-America 2nd & 3rd generation Iowan) holds a Master of Fine Arts in Poetry from the Institute of American Indian Arts. She writes poetry, essays, and short fiction. She has published in Yellow Medicine Review, Raven Chronicles, Taos Journal of Poetry, The Rumpus, and on the Poetry Foundation's website. Her chapbook, In Light, Always Light, is forthcoming from Finishing Line Press in 2019.
